    Description

    Fine JAPANESE MEIJI PERIOD CLOISONNE VASE Late 19th Century
    Dimensions: 9 inches tall
    Dark green (black) Ground decorated with roundels, floral and bead design with panels that have Japanese Ginbari (iridescent foil work). Green fish scales rise up from the base and encircle the top while a turquoise band circles the shoulders.
    Condition: Good, considering age. There are some chips, nibbles and dings to the enamel in places. Small segments of enamel are missing. Tarnishing to the metal. Wear commensurate with age and use. Please see the photos and if you have any further questions do not hesitate to ask.
