Traffic Alert: Pavement repairs on Kaneohe Bay Drive to impact Windward Oahu commute

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – City and County of Honolulu crews will be repairing the pavement on Kaneohe Bay Drive, between the H-3 Freeway and Mokapu Boulevard.
The project begins Monday, Aug. 26 and repairs are expected to be completed by Oct. 18.
Road work — weather permitting — will partially close lanes on Kaneohe Bay Drive and will take place on weekdays between 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
No roadwork will take place on holidays and weekends.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes and avoid the area if possible.
Expect delays if you are unable to avoid the affected area.
